What: The Phillie Phanatic will be joining officers from the Newark Police Department (NPD) in hosting a community event at the NPD Community Policing Center. This event is intended to be a fun way for the community to engage with the Philadelphia Phillies mascot and local law enforcement officers. The Phanatic and officers will pose for pictures and conduct "foot patrol" to engage with visitors downtown.

When: Wednesday, August 9, from 6 - 7 p.m.

Where: NPD Community Policing Center, 134 E. Main Street, Newark
