Based on icy conditions and the state-issued Level I driving warning, the City of Newark will be closed today, Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Non-essential personnel should not report. Essential personnel are to report as required.

Current reports from the National Weather Service indicate additional snow will fall on top of the snow/ice mix currently on the ground through most of the morning.
