February 14, 2017– The Newark Police are currently searching for Gunjan Majmudar a 38 year-old man missing from Newark.

On Tuesday February 14th the Newark Police responded to an apartment in the 300 block of E. Main St for a report of a missing person.  Officers made contact with a family member who last saw Majmudar at 4:30p.m..  Majmudar was reported to have been at Panera Bread, located at 140 E. Main Street, at approximately 5:00p.m. and failed to return home as expected.  Majmudar's medical condition is such that there is a real concern for his welfare.

Gunjan Majmudar is described as an Indian male, 5'9” tall and weighing approximately 160 lbs. He has black hair and brown eyes.  He was last seen wearing a white or light gray long sleeved shirt, a hooded sweatshirt, and jeans.  A photo of Majmudar is attached.
