Newark, DE - Remaining committed to providing service excellence to all residents and visitors, the City of Newark recently launched a new translation service through CTS LanguageLink. The service provides human translator services for approximately 250 languages and dialects and is available over the phone as well as in-person at the City Municipal Building in the Payment and Utility Billing customer service counters and Alderman's Court.

"The diversity of our residents and visitors is part of what makes Newark unique," said city manager Carol Houck. "By providing access to translator services, we can ensure we are communicating effectively and serving the public as efficiently as possible."

The service, which is provided at no charge to users, is a pay-per-use contract between CTS and the City at a rate of $1.60 per minute.
