Newark, DE - Based on the current weather conditions and forecast, the City of Newark will operate on a two-hour delay for Tuesday, February 12. Non-emergency essential personnel should not report until offices open at 10:30 a.m. Emergency essential personnel are to report as required or scheduled.  

The decision was made to allow crews an opportunity to continue clearing roadways.
