What: For more than two decades, Winterfest has proven to be a wonderful addition to the holiday season. Bring the whole family downtown for a holiday tree lighting, ice carving demonstrations, live musical performances, a visit from Santa and more!
When: Friday, November 30, from 6 - 8 p.m. (Rain date Saturday, December 1). Schedule includes a performance by Dance HDC, MOT Charter Dance troupes, YMCA Dance troupe, Newark Community Band Brass, The Deltones, and a special bedtime story read by authors Steve and Jean Goodwin

What: Get your camera ready to capture special moments as children of all ages join Santa for juice and a snack at the George Wilson Center. Cost is $2 per person (children must be accompanied by an adult). No pre-registration is required; pay at the door.
While they Snack with Santa, children are invited to participate in Santa's Secret Shoppe. This unique and cost-effective holiday event gives children the opportunity to purchase gifts for family and friends with a pint-sized price tag. All items will be priced between $.75 and $5, and will be gift wrapped for free. Volunteers will be on hand to assist children with shopping.
When: Saturday, December 1, from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. Santa's Secret Shoppe will be open 9 a.m. - noon.
