We are CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS for the position of police officer and will continue to accept applications on a continuous basis.  

Non-certified Applicants:

The next police academy is anticipated to begin in late September, 2022.  

As applications are received, the applicant will be scheduled for the next available testing date.

• Applications submitted by March 18, 2022 - Next testing date is April 9, 2022
• Applications submitted after March 18, 2022 - Next testing date is anticipated in late May or early June, 2022

Certified Applicants (certified as a police officer in any state):

You will be scheduled for a written exam shortly after your application is filed.  You do not have to wait for a non-certified applicant testing date.  Upon passing the exam, you will move right to the background investigation process.  The remainder of the application process remains the same as listed in the "Selection Process" menu.  Contact a recruiter for more information about this streamlined hiring process.
