Wine and Dine Downtown Newark

A culinary and wine extravaganza featuring a dazzling array of tasty delights prepared by the chefs of downtown Newark's very own restaurants, complemented by fine wines from around the world. A number of the City's restaurants have selected wines to feature and created a menu to showcase their culinary abilities.
Restaurant-wine pairings will offer a $2.00 per 2 oz. taste of wine. Please see the participating restaurant's menus below! Premium tastings and flights may also be available at varying prices. Stroll, taste, shop and dine with friends with lots of wineries, restaurants and unique shops at your fingertips.
The first 2,000 attendees will receive a complimentary commemorative wine tasting glass and wine pouch. No tickets required! You pick up a glass at any participating restaurant and pay as you go. Attendees must be at least 21 years of age with proper I.D. to participate in wine tastings.

Aromas of plum and black cherries combine with notes of cocoa and fresh thyme, accompanied by smooth and approachable tannins with an excellent finish.
Mondavi Private Selection Pinot Grigio 2016, Napa Valley, CA 7 | 28 | $2 for a 2oz sample
Honeydew, ripe melon, and flinty mineral notes dominate the nose. On the palate, ripe fruit flavors are framed by the wine’s crisp acidity.
Newton Skyside Chardonnay, 2017, Napa Valley, CA 9 | 48 | $4 for a 2oz sample
The Skyside Chardonnay shows vibrant aromas of peach and honeysuckle, followed by baked apple and subtle oak notes. The finish is crisp and delicate with notes of minerality.
