The Newark Police Department Records Division provides a wide variety of services to assist the public. All requests for police incident reports and traffic collision reports must be made through the Records Division.
All applications for special event permits (i.e. parades, block parties, etc.), parking permits, alarm permits, etc., must be obtained from and submitted to the Records Division.
Most applications for the events listed above are available in a downloadable form but must be submitted in person.
There is often a fee associated with the submission of these applications. Questions regarding fees or the permit application process should be directed to the Records Division.
