Newark Reservoir
Information

The City of Newark Reservoir, and its multi-use trail, is open to the public from sunrise to sunset, and is under video surveillance at all times.

Permitted Uses
The City of Newark Reservoir is first and foremost the water supply for our city.
We are happy to be able to provide some limited passive recreation at the reservoir site,
as the views from and the magnitude of the reservoir are impressive.
However, it is necessary to enforce specific rules and regulations.
They have been crafted with the protection of the water supply and visitors as a central concern.

All visitors to the City of Newark Reservoir must abide by the following guidelines for their own personal safety,
as well as the environmental safety and security of the Reservoir ecosystem.
