About the Department

The city solicitor is appointed by the council and is responsible for the legal representation of the city. The deputy city solicitor is the city prosecutor in Alderman's Court.

Request for Records

If you would like to request records for an open criminal or traffic case, fill out the records request form and return it to the city secretary's office. For closed cases, please contact the Police Records Division.
