All requests for bids are advertised three consecutive days in the News Journal newspaper in the Legal Section (Bids & Proposals).
After a bid opening is held, a recommendation is made by the City Manager's Office to Council who awards the contract at a regularly scheduled council meeting.
Bid openings are held on Tuesdays at 2 p.m. in the council chamber at:

Newark, DE 19711
for available contracts and/or RFPs.
